My Brain

Early in the year I went back to M.D. Anderson for a follow up to my skin cancer surgery - everything checked out great! But while I was there I ordered a copy of a CT scan they did just prior to the surgery. It came on CD in the mail a few days later. I was able to scroll through hundreds of images of my brain - just amazing! I knew instantly I had to make a quilt of my brain. This it the first of a couple that I’m going to do - they will become part of an Andy Warhol-like depiction of my brain!

On a side note, all the fabrics I used here I purchased at the Jinny Beyer seminar in Hilton Head. I went there with my mother and had a blast.
